I also don't remember the name, however, if it's the same one I saw a few
years ago, with a flexible hose attachment, I tried it and returned
it. The delivery pattern was too diffuse, and the temperature of
what came out was quite low. Seemed for of a mister than a
steamer.

have a “travel”-type garment steamer I got in the early 80’s, at some big
box store, that works pretty well for steaming off ivories, rebushing
keys, etc. It’s not fantastic, but gets the job done. There’s
an infomercial for one on TV that looks even better, but I can’t remember
the name. It’s not only for garments, but cleaning bathroom tile
grout, etc. I can’t remember if it looked suitable for steaming
hammers (for voicing). Anybody else seen the infomercial?
Hi List,

I would like to use steam on an upcoming key bushing job, but have not
been able to find any of the handy devices my colleagues have
online. Any suggestions for an off-the-shelf, hold-it-in-your-hand
gizmo capable of producing a fine, steady stream of steam?

Thanks,
