Hi David,

I do not think I could ever offer anything other
than if it works its great,

After all I have not been the one to put the block
together, have little idea of what other chems have been used,

and have know way of determining how much
delaminating has happned over the life of the piano.

One piano I well remember was a Chinese Broadwood.
It was only a year old and untunable.

Keith Kopp was the first tech to try a hand at
getting the piano to ( Tune up ) He used shims which failed!

When I was asked to work on it the piano was
very out of tune < not Keiths fault >

The first pin I took out was one that Keith had
used shims on.

The hole was just a bunch of powder with the
shims loose in the hole when the pin was removed.

I swabbed the hole with thick or medium
CA, well actually my thin that had gotten thicker.

Accelerator was used but was applied with a
hammer shank. The pin driven and string pulled up to pitch.

It worked so well that the next day I returned
to the store and laid the piano on its back and treated the
block.

Tuned the piano and it was sold that month. Did
a store tuning and the pins while not super tight had that nice little click I
like to feel as the pin turns in the hole. Before the treatment it was jusr a
squashy mushy feeling.

Havent seen the piano since as the buyer went
bankrupt and the bank got the piano.

question was not whether it is an effective treatment, it was whether you
