<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=343594804-11082007>I recently received
a request to install an after market practice pad on a new upright piano.
The middle pedal is bass sustain. The manufacturer of the piano, even
though they market a piano where the middle pedal is bass sustain and the
practice pad is activated with a lever under the keybed, does not sell the
practice pad as an add on. The only third party practice pad I was able to
find was the Quiet Keys System. While it did accomplish the task, both the
customer and I felt that it was cheap in both design and materials. In fact it
showed serious signs of rust in only the first month. And this is Southern
California in the Summer. Does anyone know of a third party practice pad system
for uprights other than Quite Keys?</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
