They grind and sand pretty well. Work from the back if the front edge is good, or work from the front if there is a chip or split, then use a file to form new rounded front corners. They match perfectly my babygrand Wurlitzer at home. <br />Are upright ivories uniformly smaller than grand ivories? Are there only two sizes one finds or is there a great variance from piano to piano.<br /><br />Long story short, I need a kit of 5 or 6 upright ivory keytop replacement heads.
