Most of the time, since I don';t hover over the keyboard all day waiting for new mail, I write a new email that someone already wrote. I usually feel pretty dumb when that happens but then I never claimed to be terribly intelligent anyway. No one seemed to see it or notice! Are my posts not getting through to everyone? I see them! Does no one else?   I not only was a private contractor to the local Kawai dealer, we also have a very active Yamaha dealer in this area and we had two RPT's that had a Samick dealership! Good friends of mine! So I'm very conversant & knowledgable regarding asian grands and their construction and faults.   I personally find it a smart concept, to string without the outer rim but then I'm sure none of you have EVER had a string, tool or other metal object slip and gouge the newly refinished inner rim of a piano you were re-stringing!
