Hello list,
I have a problem with bouncing hammers on a
Schimmel CC208T. This is not the bubbling/bobbling hammers that can
happen with a soft blow, but a rebound from the rest felt that restrikes the
string on a sharp staccato blow. The hammer flange pinning is a bit
loose at 3-4 grams (7-8 swings), but I don't think that is the whole
problem. Anyone encounter a similar Schimmel problem?

Richard
