How big is this grand? If it's only 5' or so, there is nothing that can be done to give it a "big" sound. You need to get her to define "big rich&nbsp;sound of a grand".&nbsp;Ask her to go to&nbsp;a piano store and find a&nbsp;grand that has the sound she wants. You might also start throwing some numbers at her. New pin block &amp; strings, dampers, etc. might be more than she wants to spend to get the Big Rich Sound. <br>
