<DIV>I had a customer with a small Samick grand years ago. I noticed that the two piece leg construction had a gap between the vertical leg and the horizontal mounting plate (not sure what to call it). There was no way to stiffen up the legs, short of running epoxy into the crack (messy!). I told the lady she would just have to live with it. </DIV>

<DIV>Pianist at a church complained about the Hyundai 4'6"ish grand swaying as she plays, admitting she's a pretty heavy player. It has its original casters-tiny, in large round caster cups, sitting on a carpet-covered V made of 1x6. The legs were firmly attached, no opportunity for tightening. Is this characteristic, and something she must live with, or can something be done? I tried adjusting the footprint of the legs in the cups and on the carpeted surface (reluctant to do much), and it didn't change anything.</DIV>
