<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Wim has a good idea. IMHO, not only is it impossible to
make a console action feel like a grand, but what if the grand in question is
something like a 1920s S&S with a green vertigris action - or even just some

<DIV><FONT face=Arial>I service a couple older worn out S&S grands at a
performance facility in town here. I'm continually trying to have them upgrade
the pianos - but to no avail. I saw a very talented student perform a
piece on the piano a while back. I'm always amazed that anyone can even play
those pianos. When she was done I asked her what she thought of the piano
and the way the action played. She replied: "Oh, I'm used to it. I have a
Steinway at home."</FONT></DIV>

looking for. Ask who the teacher is and do some investigating. What is
the DW & UW of the keys on the teacher's grand compared to the

regulated. <BR></DIV>
