Not having access to a Pierce Atlas at the moment, can someone
tell me the year of manufacture for a Kingsburg serial number 12645? Made by
Cable in Chicago. It's a beautiful full upright in great condition, except for
the tubby bass. Ornate carvings and amazing finish. It has original steel
wound bass strings and I'm guessing WW1 vintage. FWIW, this piano hasn't been
tuned for a year and a half, and moved to the desert from the northwest. I found
it at pitch and only needing a fine tune. It's lived with a Damppchaser system
for years. Proof is in the pudding.

Simply pointing out the tubbiness caused owner to suggest we
put new bass strings on. Wish I could find customers like this every
day.
