David,

I bought my Big House bag from Duluth about 1 1/2 years ago. Before that I had a Genck Ultimate case for about 2 1/2 years. I didn't like the fact that when I opened the Genck case there was such disarray. I had been thinking about designing my own bag but since I bought the Big House all thoughts of this have fled!

Sure, the bag is heavy but that is because I can carry so many of the things that I need for 99% of my calls. If I know that a call will need something I don't normally carry I can throw that in too.

I have been using tool storage for about 20 years in this life and another as an electronic tech and I came to the conclusion long ago that if you have most of what you need it will be heavy. That is why I depend on the shoulder strap to take the brunt of the weight. The shoulder strap of the Duluth case is the best one that I have seen, by far.

As I hinted earlier in this post, I dislike disorder, I chalk that up to OCD but the
just plain orderliness of the Big House is refreshing. I carry three tuning hammers and each has a loop to keep it in place.

I am sold on the quality of this bag as well. I was also pleased with the quality of the Genck case. It lasted for 2 1/2 years and still looks new as it sits up on a shelf in my garage. If any one is interested in the Genck case I will let it go cheap, not because it is cheap, but because I no longer need it.

Robert (Pat) Mihlfeld

David Ilvedson <ilvey@sbcglobal.net> wrote:

RE: Duluth tool bags--Arrived !
     <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal,
