We have completed the task of designing and producing replacement buttons
and mortise inserts. These are the only buttons and mortise inserts made to
within one-thousandth of an inch in accuracy and bushed by hand with hot
hide glue. The buttons are made of basswood, and upon request can be made of
beech or poplar. The mortise inserts are strictly made of basswood. They are
available bushed or
