You need to do your research. Bostons are built by Kawai. I tune hundreds of Kawais, and dozens of Bostons. It doesn't take a genius to see that they are manufactured in the same place.<br>

Boston and the lesser line, "Essex" pianos are "designed by steinway'. but made by YOUNG CHANG (or Pearl River..Eech!) in Korea, *not* Kawai of Japan. Big Difference.<br>
