the action does not settle like I hope. I had a feeling that the stretcher
wasn't going to come out, it really felt solid. I just wish that I could explain
what the actual cause of the problem is. I like to address the disease, rarher

Dave,<BR>
All of the Heintzman's I have encountered, the stretcher is both glued and
doweled to the rim/casework.<BR> A solution to the problem would be to
block sand a small amount of material off the bottom of the stretcher.<BR>If
carefully done you should be able to get the clearance with out damaging the
finish. A Palm sander would be the way to go in the shop, but the client
