In the summer around 7:30. <br> <br> Here is a funny regarding longer days. When I was in Viet Nam, it would get dark right about 7 PM in the summer. When I got home in June, my mom told me she had a party planned for me, starting at 7 PM. I went out and visited with my friends, thinking to myself, "when it gets dark, I'll go home". Well, it being in Northern Illinois, it didn't get dark until around 9 PM.  Most of my family and friends had left by the time I got home.
