Here might be an idea for your customer to activate the sustain pedal with her
left foot. Excuse the crude drawing. In a former life I was an auto
mechanic and I set up one of these for a handicapped man with one leg for his
car. It might have to be mounted to the lyre legs, or could be made to fit
the lower panel of a vertical piano, but the concept is the same. It would
be simple to fabricate, cheap and a positive movement. Just an
