I arrived as they were having breakfast and went to work. The piano was right next to the TV in the large gathering room so as I leveled and dipped and set letoff I was treated to a variety of gameshow noise next to me. Soon it was time for lunch, which I knew involved cabbage, I'd smelled it cooking all morning. After lunch they all trickled back in to line up in front of the TV again but it was off now because I was almost done with the regulation and ready to tune. So they sat watching, in chairs and wheelchairs and one by one fell asleep.
