<DIV><FONT color=#000000> Thanks for the "nice work" comment,
by the way, your supposed to be sending ME your balance rail hole work,
never mind this "I just did my own stuff", stick to sound boards, I have two
kids, two dogs, two cats, a wife and probably some mice to
feed. Good night, it's late.

<DIV><FONT color=#000000>Question: I know I could use a router instead of a
dado blade for stock removal, but I just can't help but think of nasty tearout
in that key with the dado set up. I assume you don't have that problem, do you
use it simply for fast removal reasons?

<DIV><STRONG>Hi Fenton,</STRONG></FONT></DIV></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000><STRONG></STRONG></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000><STRONG>I just recently tried out the dado for a set
of balance hole inserts and found there was way less tear-out than
with a router. I was very pleased; didn't even have to back the work up.
You also have more options for the width by adding or subtracting dado
shims.</STRONG></FONT></DIV>
