First I filled the distance part because I thought for close up I could just pick up a store ready made pair for reading (stupid me).  You have to take the - for one and subtract from the + or something like that and end up with something like the very first pair of glasses you had to wear for reading.    The optician showed me with a sample lens, and then I could see to read.   So I ordered the progressive lenses and I had trouble seeing out of the right lens for distance (Polycarbonate lens).  I was told there were different qualities of lenses.  The very patient optician after two tries of getting the (Polycarbonate lens) to work I had to try a more expensive High Index lens.  I’ve had them a week and I’ve been very happy with my new sight.  I am having trouble to get used to not peering over my glasses.    When you sit in a recliner to watch the news, you have to slip them down you nose.  My father wears trifocals he has to do the same thing.  Good luck!    Jessica Masse RPT Piano Technicians Guild   </div> </body> </html>
