<DIV>Went to evaluate a WP Haines upright. Please forgive my ignorance, but what is the piece of wood the bass bridge sits on and is between the bridge and soundboard called? Anyway, the bridge looks good, but that section of wood has several cracks. Will that cause just as much tuning instability as if the bridge were cracked?</DIV>
