It's similar to when the damper wire, instead of travelling vertically, is being pushed through the guide rail bushing at an angle. This often results in a sticking damper if there is not much clearance between the wire and bushing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The best way to do this would be to shift the position of the keypin laterally, rather than bend it at an angle; it is also impractical under most circumstances. So, you may have to ease the key a little more instead. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Incidentally, if you turn the pin left or right and have sufficient clearance, it can be observed that the key will travel to the left or right as it goes down, so your spacing of course needs to be done with the stack on.
