Without removing the action, take a small piece of felt and put glue on one side. Use a pair of tweezers to put the felt in place, while using a small screw driver to trip the jack. Once the felt is in place, use the tip of the screw drive to keep the piece of felt in place when you remove the tweezers. Then allow the jack to trip and push against the felt.
