I'm forwarding this recent email exchange between Kent Swafford and

Is there a certain size file that automatically gets sent to FILES?

Unfortunately, there is nothing
much automatic about
files@ptg.org.
Files that are too large for pianotech are simply not approved, and the
poster is then invited to re-post the message to
files@ptg.org as an alternative. When
small files are posted to
files@ptg.org, I usually forward them
intact to pianotech.
One of my emails with pics didn't get thru for some reason - maybe too
big.

I will try CA on the loose pins, and will proceed with great caution
regarding the soundboard scratches, once I see how they look with
the
soundboard cleaned up.
