It can be placed securely on a grand or vertical tuning pin, rest on a flat surface (handy for low bass tuning if you're right-handed), and tilt to any angle for viewing. It stays where I put it and doesn't even interfere with the charging cable on my iPaq 111, which plugs in from the bottom. <br> <br> I put this product in the same category as the Edwards grand action caddy.
