<DIV>Hi, Shawn:</DIV>
<DIV> Years ago, he advertised a wooden ball that would fit on the end of a standard (baton type) tuning hammer. I bought one. Worked well until I lost it. Haven't heard about his new hammers until you posted it here. Looks nice, pricey (aren't they all?). He's been around for a long time. Doubt I'll be buying one soon, but it looks like it would work fine. </DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>"Mayer Gluzman, RPT Carbon Fiber Tunning Hammer - Most Advanced Available."</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Shouldn't that be "Tuning Hammer"? Sorry... I just wondered about the hammer offered by this fellow. I don't recall anyone bringing up his name or lever when we have discussed carbon fiber in the past. A short and careless search of the archives yielded nothing as far as Mayer Gluzman is concerned. I just noticed his site at the top of the Google rankings yesterday. He didn't appear last week. When I asked my wife what the levers looked like, she seemed to think one of them looked a lot like a Fujan and the other had a "more conventional handle". I just like to keep myself in the know on what's going on in the world... </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>2: I got my Faulk carbon fiber tuning hammer yesterday. Its a beautiful tool! I had the pleasure of trying it out on 2 pianos yesterday afternoon. I tuned mostly with the Faulk and near the end of the tunings did a little switching between my 3 levers(Faulk carbon fiber, Jahn and Watanabe.) After tuning almost the hole piano with the Faulk the other levers had a strange and foreign feel to me. I plan on trying it for a week and reposting a firm opinion after using it for several pianos. I can tell you that unless something changes drastically this will be my number one hammer. The only complaint that I have is I wish it had a head extension. The length of the Watanabe head and tip feel good to me. Its easy to clear plate struts where the Faulk will not on those last few unisons. This can be solved by getting longer (2 inch Watanabe or 1 5/8s Jahn tips) which is what I'm going to do. I am fond of the 1 inch standard tips and only have the 1 5/8 narrow wall Jahn, so I might be out of commission if I run into a piano with number 3 pins before I get the new tips. Plus I must decide if I want the Jahn or Watanabe tips! That's how it goes I guess..</FONT></DIV>
