Could not his perseption simply been a voicing issue & pshycoacoustic effect.<br>
ie. The hammer wasn't stiff enough. You know how D's are ...they need some juice to get the projection someone like him is used to. If that had been the case then a differing perception of the touch would have also certainly occurred...Aye? Fantastic food for thought.<br>
