SS A 6'1" and was pleasantly surprised that the belly rail is not parallel to
the key ends or action frame.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>It appears that the options are to either plane off
the back side of the new tray or trim the tray at the opposite end where the
lift levers rest.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The original tray was trimmed under the lift levers
so it was wider at the bass than the treble. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>As the Renner kit is made of pin block type
material it is probably not an issue to remove 8 to 10mm of stock from the back
of the tray without weakening it so this appears to be the option of choice.
</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Trimming the tray under the lift levers at the
opposite end would seem to make regulation difficult.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Curious what any of you do when you encounter this
sort of thing.</FONT></DIV>
