<DIV>Hello Thomas,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> YES ,, there are several.</DIV>
<DIV>One that jumps into my mind is the </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>A.B. Chase Scale " T " Made in early 1900s.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> This is a 6"1' looks like a round tail Steinway A.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> It has a "hook" treble bridge with 2 - two
string </DIV>
<DIV>wraped unisions and 7 three string unsions coming </DIV>
<DIV>from the bass. It also has a elongated
" bell".</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> Its big advantage over the Stinway is that it has</DIV>
<DIV>the W-N-G bumper action and the bass sound</DIV>
<DIV>with a big fundamental tone with a beautiful bloom.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> Many of these pianos used Quarterd Mah. for</DIV>
<DIV>thier cabinets.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> As a side note Walter Lane worked with Allen
Chase</DIV>
<DIV>for four years before he went on his own and buillt the </DIV>
<DIV>worlds best upright. ( my opinion ) </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> Also A.B. Chase built many Knabe concert grands </DIV>
<DIV>for the Knabe Co. in the mid to late 1920s</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> " All knowledge comes from the past."</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Regards,</DIV>
