into the action. Pin the jack into the flange.</FONT></DIV>

the flange and the wippen. This lets you adjust the jack for best alignment with
the hammer butt. Use your glue of choice: hot hide, yellow, white or medium CA
are all good for this. Use tweezers or hemostat to hold the flange and seat it
thoroughly. Tilt as needed to align the tip of the jack with the hammer
butt.</FONT></DIV>

little." Use your judgment, but with a properly fitted flange, glue is
all that is necessary. Further, Ed S. made a good point, that when you
remove the old, you may find the new fits much better than you first thought

the flange has a little side to side play on the wippen. Can you
confirm that gluing the flange like that will be fine for it to
