<html> <head> <style></style> </head> <body class='hmmessage'> Hi William, I thought the same thing earlier about the felt being worn away.  I've seen this at the school. Sometmes also the metal that the spoon is made of, will erode the felt.  Removing it would be pretty tough with a spinet action wouuldn't it. This is a Gulbransen spinet action.
