<DIV>I’ve been notified by a former customer of mine that I’m being considered
to assemble a harpsichord kit for them. I’ve never done one, have only
heard of them since my start in the trade 40 years ago, have worked on
precious few, and in short, I don’t know anything past the very basics.
I’m open to the challenge and would appreciate any guidance from my fellow
colleagues on the subject. Things like typical dollar amounts to
accomplish a really good result, hours involved, and possible sublet labor are
what I’m curious about. I have a rather vast digital player installer
experience, I’ve replaced pin blocks but not soundboards and have refinished a
few pianos in the past.</DIV>
