    Based on the 45 seconds he takes to complete a single bushing in
    this video I think the Spurlock system would be faster, at least
    with a bit of practice. I haven't timed how long it takes me to
    actually install the bushings, but it takes me about 5 hours for the
    entire job which includes:<br>
    <br>
    removing the old bushings <br>
    mortise-sizing the keys<br>
    selecting the correct cloth and cutting it into strips <br>
    installing the new bushings <br>
    cleaning the keyframe <br>
    lubricating &amp; ironing the new bushings <br>
    reinstalling the keys <br>
    easing the bushings and balance holes. <br>

    Of course, he's not using the gang-style key clamps which, IMO slows
    things down considerably.<br>

                going to try using Spurlock Cauls. &nbsp;Although I am a few

                goes. &nbsp;I also agree with cost of time vs. cost of
                bushing material.
