consensus. I used to follow the lead of the guy who trained me and tell people
it had to have a followup tuning in a month. Actually he would reschedule 2 or
3 appointments after a big pitch raise. I came to the conclusion he was just
milking the ignorance of people. For many years now I just do a two or three
pass tuning and tell the customer it really needs the 6 month tuning to get it
more stable. I tell them it will be going out before then and if it gets too
annoying they can just call me out sooner- no one ever does. It seems to work
