Changed the way I "set" the pins. Steinway style tuning doesn't work on this one. The note had to be set at the middle of the torque range on the pin. Pull down too hard and it would spring up. Pull up too hard and it would spring down. Rendering was a bit of an issue but it improved with the same methodology you mentioned.<div><br></div><div>It always takes me about 1/2 again my usual tuning time. I did have a full DC system put on it and it helped but those coil spring tuning pins are a bear to set. I'm coming back to a better tuning state now so I guess I'm getting the hang of it. </div><div><br></div><div>Is your area plagued with high humidity too?</div><div><br></div><div>Andrew Anderson</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br><div><div>On Sep 8, 2011, at 10:24 PM, Leslie Bartlett wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><blockquote type="cite"> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"> <meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 11 (filtered medium)"> <!--[if !mso]> <style> v\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} o\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} w\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} .shape {behavior:url(#default#VML);} </style> <![endif]--><o:smarttagtype namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" name="PersonName"> <!--[if !mso]> <style> st1\:*{behavior:url(#default#ieooui) } </style> <![endif]--> <style> <!-- /* Font Definitions */ @font-face         {font-family:Helvetica;         panose-1:2 11 6 4 2 2 2 2 2 4;} @font-face         {font-family:Tahoma;         panose-1:2 11 6 4 3 5 4 4 2 4;} /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal         {margin:0in;         margin-bottom:.0001pt;         font-size:12.0pt;         font-family:"Times New Roman";} a:link, span.MsoHyperlink         {color:blue;         text-decoration:underline;} a:visited, span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed         {color:blue;         text-decoration:underline;} p.avgcert, li.avgcert, div.avgcert         {mso-margin-top-alt:auto;         margin-right:0in;         mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;         margin-left:0in;         font-size:12.0pt;         font-family:"Times New Roman";} span.EmailStyle19         {mso-style-type:personal-reply;         font-family:Arial;         color:blue;         font-weight:normal;         font-style:normal;         text-decoration:none none;} @page Section1         {size:8.5in 11.0in;         margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in;} div.Section1         {page:Section1;} --> </style> <div lang="EN-US" link="blue" vlink="blue" style="word-wrap: break-word;-webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space"> <div class="Section1"><p class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" color="blue" face="Arial"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:blue">Rendering is not unreasonable.
