haven't yet done any polyester repairs myself, however, I ran across
these free training videos online from Ruth Phillips the other day that may
help. Most repairs they are saying you can repair without
respraying. The repair kits are rather pricey, but should payoff after a
couple jobs. You might contact her for her opinion also. </FONT></DIV>

finish?</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>ahoy there!</DIV>a client of mine has a long scratch on the bottom panel
of his mahogany-style finish'd Kawai K15.
<DIV>a bit of research reveals that its not a cellulose finish as i'd
imagined, but a polyester...</DIV>
<DIV>i plan to use acetone to blur the edges, and then just colour-fill with
some wax, as i understand its not possible to touch-up small areas of
polyester finish: ie, one must respray the whole panel.</DIV>
<DIV>is this true? any other hints or tips would be greatly
appreciated...</DIV>
<DIV>thanks!</DIV>
