The pianists had been pleading with me to get malfunctioning notes fixed. Being already on the premises, I did it for free. The Senior Center was unwilling to pay for a larger job. I finally told the pianists that the only way the Center was going to take any action was to refuse to do any more "patching." It finally got bad enough for a revolt to take place, and the Center is now on the verge of about getting it done. I am printing this story so that some newer tuners might get something out of my experience.<div><br></div><div>Thanks Wim, Laura, and Tim for all your responses.<br><div><br><div>

It depends on what the techs before you who didn't know what the problem was did. Best case scenario for me was 1.5 hours. Some times the brackets fit perfectly, sometimes you have to do some drilling. It's a great way to become a hero because "no one else knew what was wrong" and "It plays so well now!"<div><br></div><div>Life is good.</div><div><br></div><div>Laura Olsen,RPT</div><div><div><div></div><blockquote type="cite">
