<html> <head> <style></style> </head> <body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'> Hi Tom, Yep, I told her not to pack it too tight.  I know the piano mover, and he also mentioned that to me which is a good thing especially since I don't move pianos.    I just walk around the piano and feel for the pins because I don't want a mishap. I went to a piano at a hotel, a Kawai that didn't have any hinge pins. In fact I think one of the hinges was missing altogether. It looked like the wood was split where the plate for the h inge would screw in.  I like having the lid open when I tune so I can really hear those beats. So I had to lift and carry that lid and lean it on its side against a wall.
