I had to take the key cover off and reach in a little and there it was waiting for someone to set it free. lol I thought about it this morning and read about the sostenuto, and thought the tab could have been grabing the blade. I was so glad I didn't have to spend time taking the piano apart because my wife was on a tight schedule to get back to pick the kids up.
