The canned stuff gets yucky quickly. Shellac is sticky and dries quicker, so less time for the darned things to buckle/bubble/etc.<G> Once it is firmly afixed to the soundboard with the Shellac, then follow the directions to remove the paper. After that, let it dry for at least 24 hours, then top coat with spray varathane or such. That is what I've had the best luck with. Best, Joe Joe Garrett, R.P.T.
