There is a free online hearing test available at <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.specsavers.co.uk/hearing/hearing-check/">http://www.specsavers.co.uk/hearing/hearing-check/</a> I am happy to say that my hearing is normal! I don't know if the test can be accessed outside the UK but it might be worth a try.  It's best if you use headphones as it makes it easier to test each ear separately.
