And it depends on the value of the car. Comprehensive on a $1500 car doesn’t sense but comprehensive on a $25000 car does. You are insuring against catastrophic failure, as it were. Your affordable monthly payment prevents you from having to pull out for a $5000 repair for which there’s no guarantee that it won’t happen again a week after you get the car back. You don’t buy comprehensive insurance for window replacement. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>David Love<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>www.davidlovepianos.com<o:p></o:p></span></p></div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><div style='border:none;border-top:solid #B5C4DF 1.0pt;padding:3.0pt 0in 0in 0in'><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>From:</span></b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'> pianotech-bounces@ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces@ptg.org] <b>On Behalf Of </b>Dean May<br><b>Sent:</b> Wednesday, November 09, 2011 6:48 AM<br><b>To:</b> pianotech@ptg.org<br><b>Subject:</b> Re: [pianotech] vehicle lease<o:p></o:p></span></p></div></div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:navy'>Matthew, if you wish to argue that your approach is more convenient and gives you a level of security, fine. For you to imply, though, that it saves you money in the long run is ridiculous. Insurance companies make money for a reason. Lots of money, actually. Their biggest problem is what to do with all the cash they generate. I’d bet you have spent several times what I’ve spent on vehicles, maintenance, and insurance. Admiittedly, my approach takes a little more work, a little more thinking outside the box, perhaps more inconvenient at times. For the 10s of thousands of dollars it has saved me in my lifetime, I’d say it is worth it. YMMV.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:navy'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><p class=MsoAutoSig><b><span style='font-size:20.0pt;font-family:"Lucida Calligraphy","serif";color:navy'>Dean</span></b><b><span style='font-size:20.0pt;font-family:"CAC Leslie","serif";color:navy'><o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoAutoSig><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"AGaramond","serif";color:navy'>Dean W May (812) 235-5272 voice and text</span><span style='color:navy'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoAutoSig><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"AGaramond","serif";color:navy'>PianoRebuilders.com (888) DEAN-MAY </span><span style='color:navy'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoAutoSig><span style='font-size:10.0pt'><ns0:City w:insAuthor="Dean May" w:insDate="2011-11-09T09:41:00Z" w:endInsAuthor="Dean May" w:endInsDate="2011-11-09T09:41:00Z"><span style='font-family:"AGaramond","serif";color:navy'>Terre Haute</span><span class=msoIns><ins cite="mailto:Dean%20May" datetime="2011-11-09T09:41"></ns0:City></ins></span></span><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"AGaramond","serif";color:navy'> </span><span style='font-size:10.0pt'><ns0:State w:insAuthor="Dean May" w:insDate="2011-11-09T09:41:00Z" w:endInsAuthor="Dean May" w:endInsDate="2011-11-09T09:41:00Z"><span style='font-family:"AGaramond","serif";color:navy'>IN</span><span class=msoIns><ins cite="mailto:Dean%20May" datetime="2011-11-09T09:41"></ns0:State></ins></span></span><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"AGaramond","serif";color:navy'> </span><span style='font-size:10.0pt'><ns0:PostalCode w:insAuthor="Dean May" w:insDate="2011-11-09T09:41:00Z" w:endInsAuthor="Dean May" w:endInsDate="2011-11-09T09:41:00Z"><span style='font-family:"AGaramond","serif";color:navy'>47802 Give us a LIKE on Facebook! <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/PianoRebuilderscom/137780082943148">Go to PianoRebuilders.com</a></span><span class=msoIns><ins cite="mailto:Dean%20May" datetime="2011-11-09T09:41"></ns0:PostalCode></ins></span></span><o:p></o:p></p></div><div><div class=MsoNormal align=center style='text-align:center'><hr size=2 width="100%" align=center></div><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>From:</span></b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'> pianotech-bounces@ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces@ptg.org] <b>On Behalf Of </b>Matthew Todd<br><b>Sent:</b> Wednesday, November 09, 2011 8:33 AM<br><b>To:</b> Rob McCall; pianotech@ptg.org<br><b>Subject:</b> Re: [pianotech] vehicle lease</span><o:p></o:p></p></div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><div><div><p class=MsoNormal style='background:white'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black'>True.
