I’ve come to believe that in many cases the extra gripping supplied by CA application comes from the saturated bushing itself. In my application I therefore strive to make sure all the endgrain of the bushing gets a nice saturation in addition to filling up any gap at the base of the pin. The latter is still done in the hopes that some will get down to the block.
