    I've tuned a lot of P22's having worked with a yamaha dealer.&nbsp; As
    someone mentioned, yamaha would trim the last damper so the outside
    string would ring.&nbsp; I also noticed, and often got complaints about
    the level of sustain on the 3 or 4 notes after the dampers ended.&nbsp;
    Seems to be a P22 thing.<br>

          that notes will ring due to the absense of dampers, but these
          in particular seem to sustain longer.&nbsp; They don't die off
          quickly, so much sustain that they almost blend in with others

          first e-mail lol of course they ring but I foud it intersting
