Notes around the area of A-61 rang sympathetically long after playing stopped. Maybe one note, maybe 2. It did come from the speaking side of the string. <div><br></div><div> My solution was to weave a piece of thread lightly thru the offending strings, inserting it very close to the bridge. The very loose weave stopped the excessive after-ring without diminishing the sound when struck by the hammer.<div><div><div>
