about service vehicles after all) this was a very fun project. Most of us like
to tinker with stuff, its why we do what we do. This bike was a barn find, last
plated in 1991. Brake fluid had turned to powder, every brake component needed
rebuilt, carbs rebuilt, electrical upgrades, valves adjusted, tires. I’ve
been watching Craig’s List and there are lots of bikes out there like
this for around $500-$1000. I got mine for $500 and put another $1000 or so
into it. The thing that makes these projects really fun is there are lots of
model specific internet forums out there with moderators that know these
machines in and out. On my Honda 900 Yahoo forum they even have a document with
a check list of known issues to take care of right away, and other problem
areas to check carefully. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
