The electrodes heat up the tuning pins which then heat the strings until the go in tune. Wouldn't the heat dry out the pin block? Do this enough time over a period of time, wouldn't the block eventually crack? Or at most, the fibers around the pin get dried out to where they woulnd't hold the pin any more?</FONT><br>

One added functionality: prop up the rear leg by a few inches and turn on. Can be used as a slow-cook Forman grill. Still need to work out drainage and clean up.<br>

If that unison is "perfectly in tune" I'll eat my hat. While that system may have potential, the demo should at least succeed in tuning the one demo note. Also, how many pianos have enough clearance under the block for the circuit boards? Clever idea, but I'm not worried. I'd rather spend my money on a self-parking car. <br>
