<DIV><FONT face=Arial>I don't think we have to worry about our jobs on account
of a self-tuning piano. For one, think of the millions of pianos out there
currently that will never be self-tuning! That leaves us plenty of work,
I'd say!</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Even IF the "bugs" got worked out of it and they
started selling like gang-busters, I would imagine it would take years to catch
on enough to flood the market to the point it would effect us too much.
Even at that...I don't think he's begun working on a self-regulating or self
repairing piano yet. Maybe someday ; )</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>One other thing...I'm not sure I understood correctly or
not, but as it tunes...it has to sound all the strings while it's initially
tuning at startup, correct? If so, that would be the biggest annoyance,
I'd think. Who in their right mind would want to hear that noise, for any
period of time, every time you sat down to play. I sure wouldn't. If it
doesn't, then I misunderstood and stand corrected.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Anyway, I think I'll rest easy tonight...we may suffer a
bit to poor economy, but I seriously doubt if we suffer too much at the
hands of a self-tuning piano.</FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>I agree with Dale, I wouldn't necessarily want to poor
cold water on a cool idea, afterall, the entreprenuering spirit is what
built America, and my hats off to him. Cool idea at the
least.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
