Subaru Outback or Forester if you are taller. I like the outback and one of the reasons is the same as yours - the rear seats fold down flat so I can slide a grand action in and have plenty of room for tools. Though mine is an '05, so I'd double check on how the rear seats fold down.<div>

<div>Well, would you believe that GM, in it's infinite wisdom, has decided that the HHR was not what enough consumers wanted, so they pulled the plug on production with last year's model. </div>
