After use you just wipe dry the jar and put the lid back on. Fletcher & Newman and Hechschers, the two UK piano supply houses, used to sell it under the names Winstick and Wilstick, respectively.  But it can be had quite cheaply direct from Sheppey. If you only have one small item to glue, you can even melt a little in a teaspoon (your own not the client's!) with the casting lamp.
