It is. Exactly. When the state decides it can define morality, in this case the confiscation of private property, or the rendering of it to be worthless, without due process. Here is an easy workaround: Sell them the piano without the keys. Then give them the keys as a gift and install them after delivery. Explain the law and tell them if they don’t want Ivory, you’ll be happy to have a new set of keys made w/ plastic tops for $xxx extra. <o:p></o:p><o:p> </o:p>This law is pure evil since it is retroactively punitive, something expressly forbidden by the constitution.
